Great post, but I noticed that NetDrive now supports ssh directly, so there is no need for mindterm.

Got it to work with Windows 7 64bit. NetDrive doesn't work, however if you goto: Control Panel-->Internet Options-->Advanced, then uncheck "Use Passive FTP", you can navigate to your sftp folders using windows explorer or even mount through "Add a network location" in internet explorer. Useful for quick updates to my website. Cool!

I just started playing with this because I manage a number of servers that I would like to have file access to without installing and configuring FTP. I am able to use NetDrive like a charm.
-When you go to configure a (new) connection, select FTP
- type 22 as the port (or your ssh port)
- then save
- make sure you have your "file" selected, then click on advance on the bottom
- select SFTP using SSH2 for SSL

Works for me under Windows 7 Ultimate. I am using some stuff in Dreamweaver CS3. I also tested it using Explore (Start -> My Computer -> (drive))

Hello all

I have just tried Dokan and compared it to SFTPdrive. Dokan works fine except for how excruciatingly SLOW it is. When it takes 20 seconds to return a directory listing you can spend minutes just getting to a directory 3 levels down.

SFTPdrive or ExpanDrive (new name) is quite snappy in comparison, even at the 1.7.9 version I have.

Hope that helps someone.

Eduard,
Take a look at what Stephen B. said above in the comments, you may want to give this a try: http://dokan-dev.net/en/download/

Solution is simply to change de default folder of the user in /etc/passw file
Is there a way to automate all this in a windows bash script ?
